Latest Kenningwell addition is a driving success!

A new addition to the Kenningwell squad has been seen around town lately. Possessing speed, power and plenty of flair this is surely one of Kenningwell’s best signings for many years. I am of course talking about the new Kenningwell United team minibus.

The minibus is a Renault Master 16 seater, with manual transmission and a 2.5 litre diesel engine. It has been decorated with the club crest, club website address and telephone number as well as having a special personalised number plate, F1 KFC.

The new minibus opens up many opportunities for Kenningwell United; for away games we can now meet at a designated place, leave our cars behind and all travel to the ground together. This will boost the club’s image of being one of the most exciting and professionally run Sunday league teams around. It will also help to ensure that everyone arrives on time! The bus will be of even more benefit to the reserve team as with having such a young squad many players do not drive.

The bus will also be used to take the Kenningwell Academy on trips, such as visiting Premier League football grounds and possibly educational visits too.

The minibus is in top condition and it is up to all of us to keep it that way. When using the bus please make sure to take all litter with you, don’t spill any drinks or messy foods and help to remind others to look after it as well.

Many thanks must go to the Kenningwell management committee, in particular Devon Hamilton, for providing Kenningwell with the new wheels to get us to where we are going. I am sure Devon would be most grateful if any of you wish to clean the van for him in your spare time!
